2. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

3. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; urgent legal/security changes may apply without notice. Other changes get reasonable notice. If you disagree, discontinue use before the change takes effect — continued use after means acceptance.

4. Changes to Infinit or Service Availability

We may update our Services or website anytime. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability but will make reasonable efforts to notify Clients of major changes affecting active projects.

5. Becoming a Client

You’ll typically need to: provide valid contact/business details, enter a Service Agreement (scope, pricing, timeline), set up payment via Stripe, and provide accurate information about the footage to be produced or edited. We may request further verification; without it, we may be unable to proceed.

6. Your Commitments to Us

You agree to: provide truthful, current information; confirm you own or have rights/consent for any footage you provide (including consent from anyone else appearing in it); communicate with us electronically about your project; keep any login credentials secure and report suspected unauthorized access to support@typescape.io; comply with these Terms, your Service Agreement, and applicable law.

7. The Production and Editing Process

  • Intake: You provide footage, or we capture it during a scheduled session.
  • Editing: We edit per your creative direction and any standing project preferences.
  • Review/revisions: You review drafts and give structured, typically timecode-anchored feedback via our video review platform. Included revision rounds are set in your Service Agreement; extra rounds may be billed separately.
  • Delivery: Final Deliverables are provided via the agreed platform once approved.

7.1 Automated and AI-Assisted Editing

Our workflow uses automated and AI-assisted tools to support editors (organizing footage, generating draft cuts, flagging segments for review). These tools assist — they don’t make unreviewed final decisions about your content. A human reviews and approves every deliverable before delivery.

8. Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

Sessions are booked per your Service Agreement’s process. Cancellations/reschedules with less than 2 business days notice may incur a fee. Repeated late cancellations may affect future booking ability.

9. Pricing and Payment

Billed per session/package per your Service Agreement — no credits or subscription model. Payment via Stripe; you cover any currency conversion/transfer fees. Fees are generally due in advance per the payment schedule, and non-refundable except as stated in your Service Agreement or required by law.

10. Content Ownership and Licensing

  • Your footage/content: You retain ownership of footage you provide and the finished Deliverables.
  • License to us: You grant Infinit a limited license to store, process, and edit your footage (including via automated tools) solely to deliver the Services. This ends when your project completes and files are deleted per our retention policy, unless you’ve agreed to longer retention (e.g., case study use).
  • Our technology: Infinit retains all rights to its tools, workflows, and editing technology — these Terms don’t transfer any of that to you.
  • Case study/portfolio use: We won’t use your footage or Deliverables for our own marketing or portfolio purposes without your separate, explicit consent.

11. Confidentiality

We treat unreleased footage and Deliverables as confidential, sharing only with necessary service providers (e.g., video review or storage platforms), with your consent, or where legally required.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to request or provide footage that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringing; contains hate speech, sexually explicit material, or content exploiting/endangering minors; depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity; or includes another person’s private information without consent. We may decline or pause work we reasonably believe violates this section, and will notify you.

13. What Infinit Is Not Responsible For

The accuracy, legality, or rights-clearance of footage you provide; your reliance on Deliverables beyond their intended use; third-party platform outages outside our control; losses from your own technical setup or connectivity.

14. Termination

Either party may end an engagement per the notice terms in the Service Agreement. We may suspend/terminate immediately for serious/repeated violations, non-payment, or footage violating Section 12. Outstanding fees for completed work remain payable; footage is returned or deleted per our Privacy Policy and Service Agreement.

15. Liability

Not liable for unforeseeable losses, business interruption, lost profits, or lost data. Not liable for reliance on Deliverables outside the agreed scope. Total liability for any claim is limited to fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim, unless the Service Agreement states otherwise. We only stand behind what’s explicitly committed to in these Terms and your Service Agreement.

16. Indemnification

You’ll indemnify Infinit against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from footage provided without proper rights/consents, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law in connection with the Services.

17. General Terms

Severability; no waiver of unenforced rights; you can’t assign your rights without our consent, we can assign ours (e.g., in a sale); these Terms plus your Service Agreement and Privacy Policy form the entire agreement; governed by Ontario, Canada law, disputes brought there; claims must be filed within one year.

18. Complaints

Email support@typescape.io with your name, contact details, and issue description. We’ll investigate and respond within a reasonable time; include documentation for rights/content disputes.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may revise these Terms for legal, operational, or service reasons, with reasonable notice for material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect = acceptance.
